My wife and I decided to move back to the great state of Utah, after being gone several years. Shopping for a home in Utah, while living in Texas was not an easy task, especially because we are very particular and wanted to take advantage of the current down turn in the market.
So with the help of the internet, I was able to find the home I was looking for on a Real Estate Auction website. They had all the information about the properties they were offering at auction and it was easy to navigate on their site. We finally called them after doing our own research and scheduled an appointment to see the home, and to make a long story short, we are now the proud owners. I really felt like it was a very easy process, and I got a great deal.

As a Real Estate Agent, owning my own home, with a need to sell, I was very confident I could get the job done myself. I had a great home in a great area, and the bank was willing to accept a short sale offer. All I needed now was a fair offer. Easier said then done, with no buyers and spending money every week on advertising that gave little or no results, I decided to try the auction.
I put it in a live auction with US Auctions where we did get a very good offer, which unfortunately, the bank turned down. We then put it in their online auction which generated another offer, which the bank then accepted and we closed a few weeks ago. Being a short sale I was very impressed with the post auction report, which I believe was very helpful in getting the bank to accept the offer. I have since placed several additional properties with them for auction. It’s new and different but it does work.

Real Estate Auctions, the quickest way to a fair offer. As a for sale by owner, I needed a quick offer, I did what I thought was a great job marketing my home and had enough experience, that I felt I could get the job done myself.
After several months of showings I still had no buyer. I put my property in the auction, and was really surprised at the quick results I received. The auction company conducted the open houses, and had directional signs on every corner. The day of the auction we had 4 qualified buyers interested in the property which took the price to a price that was acceptable. I enjoyed the working relationship with the auction team and felt like I made some new friends. They always had my best interest in mind, and were very good in communicating with me every step of the way.

Wow, amazing results, using the US Auction System to sell my home in Lehi. I recently moved away from Utah and was stuck with a vacant home to sell, while being thousands of miles away.
I was a bit worried about many things that could happen while not being there to watch my property and most importantly getting it sold, to eliminate the 2nd mortgage payment I was making. I had tried the normal process, which was to list the property and hope for an offer, which after several months yielded no results.
I then contacted US Auctions and discussed the terms and conditions of the auction and decided to give it a chance. The first thing they did was make some recommendations on the property, including a 3rd party inspection and a little bit of clean up and paint, which they did for me.
Next, they started their marketing efforts which created lots of activity. They reported to me each week. The date of the auction came and we received an offer which we accepted. All this took place within 45 days from the date I signed the auction agreement. Unfortunately the buyer backed out of the deal, and we had to start all over. They quickly started the process again and moved the date of the auction up and within two weeks we had another acceptable offer. We closed on the deal, and I have one less house payment to make.
Through it all I was very impressed with the attention to detail, and communication, keeping me completely informed with the progress. I would not hesitate to use them again given the chance.

As a developer of many projects, we found ourselves caught in the same mess, as many other developers, lots of inventory and no buyers. We had tried many creative methods of marketing with little or no results.
The Real Estate Auction option looked interesting, so we gave it a try. To our surprise, it really worked. We received offers on several properties, of which some we accepted and closed on, and some we did not. The overall process was very straight forward and painless. I have recently used them again on another property using their online auction system which created the same results. I intend to use US Auctions again in the future.

Real Estate Auctions really work!
After 18 months of frustration with our house on the market and listed in the MLS with multiple agents, we were ready for a new approach. We had watched the price of our home be listed lower and lower, but nothing seemed to bring in buyers even to look at the property. It is easy to imagine what your home is worth, but a real guessing game to pinpoint what someone else is willing to pay. “Am I pricing it too high?…too low? Will a buyer make a counter offer? What is the lowest price we can accept?”
In this crazy market everyone is waiting for a “steal.” The Auction seemed to provide that opportunity. People pay only what the market will bear. That is good news for them. The good news for us was that seven “real qualified buyers” showed up for the auction. That was more buyers than we had seen in the previous 18 months. They did not have to submit an offer and wait to see if it was accepted or if someone else made a higher offer. It was all out in the open. They bid against each other and the home actually sold that night for more than the current listed price. The buyer was pre-qualified and put down earnest money that night.
What a relief to finally have our home sold! We are satisfied that the deal is done, and the new owner is thrilled that she got such a good deal. Everyone is happy!
